I came up with the title, "Juan F Kennedy", then I:
- Found a Juan Valdez graphic and a photo of Kennedy.
- mashed them together in Gimp and then in Inkscape.
- exported a PNG from Inkscape, opened it in Gimp and printed it.
- traced the print with ballpoint pen and marker and scanned in the trace.
- filled in the black areas in the new scan in Gimp and then pulled that into Inkscape again for a final push through the bitmap-to-path-O-filter.
- still in Inkscape, added a white shine dot to the burro's eye, added background color, then punched the timer and jumped back like a bull calf roper.
Hope you like it for whatever perverse reasons work for you. For the record, I have nothing against John Kennedy or any Kennedys for that matter. I liked the title, and the graphic worked pretty much the way I thought it would and so I posted it. No political messages intended.
