Tonight's apparition was inspired primarily by the Flintstones. Not the people, but the architecture.

The Flintstones were a big deal for me as a kid. They came on in the evening and, my parents liked them! Stone Age Adult Swim in the (1960's) stone age.

I brought back Bedrock stone - the windows and outside lines - from a 60-year-old animated vision of pre-history to give you four, ostensibly robot-like, heads.

There's a bit of Lucy in there as well, because I am after all, a part of the "tailfin generation*"

We live in very strange times.

It's a strange night. A strange, breezy night here on the cusp of summer.

Spring does not last long in Las Vegas. I was out on the balcony wearing jams and fuzzy slippers to ward off chill; in a couple of weeks, buck-nekkid won't bring relief from the heat.

Please let me know what you think of the rock-robot heads.

*I recently made that up. People born during the years when cars had tailfins
