Divide by Zero

It was this drawing, along with a couple of others, that made me realize I had the habit of scribbling (sometimes) fairly intricate monstrosities, usually during meetings or phone calls.

I decided that "robots" or "'bots" most accurately described these things.

Further realizing that the world desperately needed another blog, I started Botaday, the most glorious agglomeration of sometimes marginally crafted images unrivaled by just about anything found in any men's room in even the most bohemian part of town.

"Divide by Zero" presented a couple of challenges, the first of which being, what to call it. I rarely draw things with a goal in mind, I usually just draw for a while and then pick out things that look like I knew what I was doing at the time.

The second challenge was that the original drawing was on lined notebook paper. I had a devil of a time getting the blue lines out while preserving the ink lines. It's just a darn good thing it was done in black pen!
