My drawings, that is. These things made me think of sentinels, which made me think of Centinela.
(Although I spent 20+ years in the Los Angeles area, I did not - until just now looking it up in Wikipedia - know that Centinela was NOT a city. But I love great-sounding words. Centinela is a great-sounding word.)
And I just love that smoggy-sky background. I think only Hoppy and this one have it, and I know, or at least hope, that L.A. doesn't have that kind of smog problem anymore. At least, that's what I've heard what with the cleaner cars and fuel, but that's sort of the way the sky looked a lot when I lived there. And even though it's a "bad" thing, I think of it in a nostalgic way.
