As you may remember I was drawing fish the other day.
Well, this is another from that series. The real innovation here is, the lips on this guy are "salmon" colored.
I know, right?
But, the other thing is, there are already fish with legs. So obviously, I had to find someplace new to go with this piece.
Well, where else to go but jeans? What's more American than Levi Strauss, the gigantic worldwide conglomoration which has appropriated his name and the fact that most people my age can't wear 501's anymore?
There's pathos, greed and patriotism all wrapped up in this. If I had characters, dialogue, plot and a message, we'd be in GAN territory, I tell you what.
