Years ago I would entertain myself during meetings or conference calls by drawing small images in ballpoint pen. It was these tiny drawings that led me to create Botaday which - when first conceived - stood for 'A Robot A Day'.
Over time, the drawings morphed into illustrations of made-up words using vector graphics and digital image manipulation. Botaday now has over a thousand images of puns, portmanteaus and mondegreens
