This is how Botaday started - ballpoint sketches of odd creatures. These drawings are almost pure expression because I'm following the pen around the page instead of guiding it - a form of automatic drawing.
The challenge is to then catch the same energy and spontaneity in vectors and paintings.
These beings do not, most likely can not and probably never will exist, but they give a glimpse into a possible future where humans share space with whimsical, somewhat intelligent devices.
I call it "Robot Expressionism".
